Mable Vernon a/k/a Maple was a Denizen that'd most recently settled in Mer and befriended Gunther. Her avatar was a decently realistically rendered octopus, meaning she was rather on the small and (very) squishy side, but it was nothing she was bothered by. She'd deleted her human appearance from files entirely, meaning human-avatared Fragments would give her a randomised appearance likely only true to her gender (and a few basic online aesthetic rules).

She was affected by the access loss glitch while escorting the trapped Denizens with Patri and Gunther and transitioned with them to Genos, where she became lunch for a monster.
