Gunar is a character in Genos. He's a soldier of the Empire.
He does not believe he's particularly entitled to speak for the Empire, but paradoxically often does - mostly when someone else is giving a narrative that he considers counter-productive. He's patient, suffering tensions between the Empire and other human settlements in superficial silence. Despite appearing fairly easy-going, one should at least know he's strictly loyal to the Empire… and will obey any instruction from his superior officer - he doesn't apply any moral filters.
